Talk:Walt Disney

(Difference between revisions):I just removed the "strife" paragraph. On the one hand, it's long after Walt Disney's death and doesn't belong here, but into the [[The Walt Disney Company]] article, if at all. Furthermore, ''Mulan'' was released and Gay Days began while Roy Disney still was "chairman of Feature Animation", not as a consequence of any "era of bottom-line corporate thinking" ushered in by Roy Disney's departure. [[User:Pokeria1|Pokeria1]] 23:19, 29 June 2013 (EDT)The stuff about Eisner, et.al. and the strife, there is about a 10 year gap between Walt's death and all of that...so it isn't very accurate. Roy O. Disney ran it for years after Walt died. --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 12:28, 21 June 2007 (EDT) I worked at ABC for 8 years, and I also read some books about Walt Disney and The Walt Disney Company. There was strife and factionalism, Terry. --Ed Poor Talk 12:32, 21 June 2007 (EDT) Bows to Ed Poor's greater knowledge and personal experience. --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 13:47, 21 June 2007 (EDT)

"Gay Days" are not a Disney-sponsored event. Dadsnagem2 14:43, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

True. That really shouldn't be on there. A better example would be their extension of medical benefits to "domestic partners" of their employees. --Birdie 13:07, 22 July 2008 (EDT) I just removed the "strife" paragraph.
